Becky and Brodie's visit in early August

Brodie has complete concentration when he's organizing anything. Here, it's the Fisher Price castle that Rachel and Becky also played with, and he's playing on our pool table (quite the favourite place for both grandsons!)

The "men" having a serious discussion. Tinny was much too busy with renos to come this time. We missed him!

Happy mama, happy son.

"Ha, ha, Gramm, you can't catch me!" (and he was right!)

Brodie's first bicycle, but not yet his first, solo bike ride.

Flying over to see Mama.
"Noisy Putty" was a mystery to us because it made no sounds until we tried to put it back into its can. Then came the noise .....not unlike a smelly sound that kids love to laugh at after making a face like this one on Brodie.

Brodie's laughter at the sound of "FLARC" (noisy putty).

Mama teaching Brodie about "popping things", the seed pods of spotted touch-me-not. Becky and Rachel, as kids, spent many hours touching these and being slightly startled every time one of them exploded and sent seeds in a shower all around them.
